ider this scenario: you throw a party at your place and, all of a sudden, people feel like singing and it all turns into a karaoke night. Mini Lyrics is a small program, ideal for this situation. It's a set of lyrics plugins for most media players. The package is 1.82 Mb large and it takes a few seconds to install the software without needing to install anything else to support this program and no system reboot is required. So you don't need to worry about slowing down your party. Mini Lyrics will automatically detect what media players you have installed on your computer. The first thing you'll see when you run it will be a window with a list of the detected players. You can click on their buttons on the list to immediately launch them. If you have additional players that the program missed, you can click the More button, look for the designated button in the three page list and click it in order to manually specify its installation path. Now, when you run a player, you'll be able to see the song's lyrics on screen. The program will automatically search for lyrics on the web. They're pretty well synchronized, but if you aren't satisfied, you can manually select another set of lyrics. The lyrics are placed in an invisible window which becomes visible if you hover over the text with your mouse cursor. Here you can go to the Lyrics menu and hit the Search Lyrics option and you'll be able to select other sets from a window that will show up. You can customize the lyrics window with different skins, themes, edit the lyrics themselves, all done from options found in the window's top menus. The program's interface and functionality aren't at all complicated. Even if you're a beginner, you won't have any trouble running Mini Lyrics.
